The standard rule of thumb for long-acting H1 blockers is a minimum of 30 minutes prior to anticipated allergen exposure. This allows time for the medication to enter the digestive system and begin distributed systemically through the tissues. Ideal time frames would be on the order of 60 minutes.

Long-acting medications such as this are most effective if they are in already in place, blocking the H1 receptor, prior to histamine release (antigen exposure). They do not compete as well once histamine has been released, compared to medications like Benadryl, which is used to counteract conditions like anaphylactic shock.

Yes, additional coverage will be secondary. I would not get extra vision, as costs for that are not much (an exam at Costco is under $ 50) and the premiums would be more. Dental is also some what iffy. Now as to medical, your plan is basic and you want more....so you would be getting a more stuff plan which would be incredible expensive on the individual policy market--the premiums may be so much more that they are ridiculous (many people in CA just got 20-70% increases in their single policy market which you would be in)--mine alone went up to $ 900 a month in CA. The one that I recommend for its totality in coverage and relatively cost effectiveness in Kaiser, which is in California. I would highly recommend you look at them. They would not be secondary per se as you would just be going to Kaiser on the plan, outside of Kaiser you could use your work plan. Kaiser includes ER visits, out patient clinics, medications etc & they tend to be all in one place.

Make people get a job and buy insurance, It works for me. My wife and I both work and pay 466 a month for insurance. It is very good insurance and i work hard to afford it. Why should I pay for someone who is too lazy to work and get their own insurance. If you can't afford health insurance then the govenment should set something up. It would be crappy but better than nothing. I see no reason someone should get the same insurance I get when I work damn hard for it.

Ew -- I don't like caviar or champagne. I'll stick to the basics, thanks.

The best way I can think of to improve health care is to completely remove the government from it. Competition among various private practitioners will drive out the bad doctors: as people realize that a certain person's care is much better than another's, they will patronize the better business more. Eventually, you'll have a bunch of really good doctors competing for your business by offering you better prices, better care, etc., and you won't have to worry about the quacks so much anymore. Canada's socialized system does not work: they concentrate more on healing those who will be more beneficial to the system over the long term (the young and relatively hale) than they do on those who often genuinely need it (the elderly). Also, if you visit a Canadian hospital, they will heal the person with a scrape before they get to your broken arm if the scrape came in before you did.

By letting businesses tend to themselves, the businesses in turn will eventually be able to care better for their customers.

Abolish the Dept. of Homeland Security and the Defense Dept and start the Dept of Universal Health Care and Medical Science.

Your taxes should go down, not up, and you will save many many more lives than those two boondoggles have saved.

You money will be spent on medical solutions and prevention instead of weapons of death.

Plus you will have economic security and health care security for all.

Just think small business no more workman's compensation insurance or minimum wage necessary.

The best way is to leave everything just like it is except for creating special free clinics for poor people who can not afford medical care or don't have any insurance. These clinics, as I mentioned, must be completely free of charge.

Simple.
Put a limit on lawsuits.
(Bush tried it and the Democrats stopped him. Trial Lawyers then gave millions & millions to the Democrat Party.)
Our health care is costly because of shyster lawyers like John Edwards, who made millions with frivoulous lawsuits.
