List of Free Play and Print Baby Shower Games

Someone that you know is having a baby and it’s time to arrange the shower. Dust off your party gear – it’s time to organize some fun baby shower games. Here is a list of some ideas to help make the occasion fun and special.

Match Baby Photo to Mother (Which mom looks like their baby?)

In advance of the baby shower, ask each mother to email you 2 photos:

  • One of themselves as babies
  • One of their child as a baby

Number the photos and on a blank sheet of foolscap, ask your party guests try to match which baby picture goes with which adult. The person that guesses the most wins a prize!

Candy Baby Bottle Guessing Game

Before your guests arrive, fill a baby bottle with your favourite candy (e.g. M& M’s). Empty the bottle and count the candy and write it down.

Re-fill the bottle and ask your guests to guess how many candies are in the bottle. The closest to the actual number wins the bottle.

Draw the Baby

This is not easy but is great fun! Drawing baby but with a twist – ask your guests to draw baby on a paper plate. The twist is that the plate has got to be on the top of your guests heads. The results can be hysterical!

Don’t Mention The Word “Baby” Game

Here’s one for the tricksters. As your guests arrive, give them something to wear (e.g. a candy bracelet, necklace or other small items. If you catch someone saying the word “baby”, you get to steal their item from them!

Set a time limit. The person with the most items collected is the winner. If your tricky, you could try to get other guests to say “baby” to steal their items and win.

Match the Celebrity Baby

A variation on “Match Baby Photo to Mother” but this time gather mother and baby photos of celebrities.

Ask your guests to match mother to baby to win the game.

These are just a few of the games that you can have at your baby shower.

Have you played any of these games or have you played other games? Let us know your thoughts. A bottle of M&M’s for the best game suggestion!
