Baby Shower Personalized Candy Jar Favors

Why not add your own style to Candy Jar Favors for the Baby Shower?

Favors are available to buy in a wide range of sizes, shapes and containing different candies.

But, if you’re crafty, you can make your own jars and save money. Here are some ideas of baby shower personalized jar favors.

Bottled Candy

Buy plastic or glass themed bottles and fill them up with candy, nuts or snacks. This can be as cheap or expensive as you want.

Go that little bit further for a truly memorable day fill the jar with candy that has the names or initials printed on it. (hint: M&M’s do personalized candies!)

Cookie Favors

You’ll need themed cookie cutters (e.g. teddy bear, duck or other baby item), some cookie batter and some time to bake the cookies. Create whatever flavor cookies that you want.

Candy Wrappers

Make your own candy wrappers quickly, cheaply and easily. Have a look online for custom clipart and graphics to print onto a small (6.5 x 3.5″) piece of paper. Wrap the candies in your custom wrappers for a truly personalized jar of candies.

Bagged Candle

Have a look for small but attractive candles that can often be bought from local discount stores. Put the candle in a blue or pink organza bag or perhaps wrap it up in a cello bag and attach a tag personalized for the event.

Soap Favors – Themed

This could be messy but worth the effort.

You’ll need to get hold of some custom, themed mould pots.

Here’s the tricky bit: gently melt down a bar of soap (being careful not to ignite the soap on too high a heat) and pour the melted, liquid soap into the themed mould.

Allow the mould to cool and you’ll have truly unique themed gifts in the shape of teddy bears, ducks or whatever you want!

Why not add some more personalization by perhaps using plastic or metal letter punches to add a name or initials to the soaps?
